This is a hinged bail that can be used with most any chain, and even larger omega necklaces. The pendant needs to have an opening that is larger than 1.75 mm or 1/16" of an inch (the O ring can not be smaller than these sizes.) This is a really neat thing to have!! You can change your pendants and chains easily - over and over again!! Thickness from right to left should not exceed 4mm, and flat side should not exceed 6.75mm

ROPE OR OTHER ROUND STYLE CHAINS:
Chain Thickness should be 4mm or Smaller (5/32nd of an Inch)
OMEGA OR HERRINGBONE STYLE CHAINS:
If used on a flat, style chain (like herringbone or omegas)
6.75mm or smaller (3/16th inch)
