IDEAS FOR HOW TO MEASURE LENGTH for CHAINS or NECKLACES
|
| USE A STRING OR THIN ROPE & RULER. If Omega,
or other close fitting necklace measure out 17", all other necklaces, Measure out 24
inches with a ruler, then drape this piece around your neck. Pull in the string according
to the length you desire and then measure the rope. If it's in the middle, you may
want to pick the next size up. (Example 22 1/2 inches, you'll probably want to round up to
the 24") |
Buying for someone else?
For Omega or other close fitting styles, 16" is for sm-med, 17" for
Large, 18" for extra large. For other chains: Most Men & Women wear a 20" Chain, Kids or Teens an 16" or 18",
and for the "thicker stronger necks" 24 inch. For people with arthritis we
recommend a 24" or 30" chain
so they can pull it on and off without unclasping. |
